Drunter und drüber über

die ungeraden Pfade des Lebens,

Bis ins Jenseits hinauf,

wo die Ferne

Auf einmal nahe ist.

Familienfreund, Dichter und Denker,

Deine Hirngespinste leben weiter

in aller Ewigkeit in den heiligen Hallen

Dieses Lebens.

Rosen verwelken, doch deine Seele blüht,

In ewiger Liebe gebunden,

in unsrer Erinnerung fest verankert,

Der Nachhall deines Lebens
