The music has stopped playing and I don’t have a seat. Waiting until the game finishes, I gladly help put away the chairs. A new game will start someday, and I look forward to the challenge.
Moving
Under
The
Mire
Shadows
Surface
Spreading
Filth
Cleanly
Across
Open
Spaces
Trapping
The
Other
For
Unplanned
Moments
Of
Solitude,
Breaking,
Breathing
New
Direction
And
Vision

Words and signs stick in time and space. Outside, inside, nothingness all fighting among themselves for primacy. Where is my voice?

Power
Outside
The
Window
Settles
The
Unsettled
Soul
Along
The
Journey
Long
After
The
Other’s
Gaze
Has
Shifted

Pounding
The
Pavement
Of
The
Past
Finding
The
Breath
Of
Others
Inside
Ourselves
Stumbling
In
Agonizing
Moments
Of
Remembrance

One
Life
We’ve
Lived
And
Buried
In
A
Fog
Of
Information
Wet
With
Regret
Yet
Still
Presently
Absent
Alone
Surrounded
By
Nothingingness
Ignoring
Others

Slow
movement
on
a
cloudy
Mind
stuck;
Mired
thoughts
streaming
in
the
fatigue
of
yesterday
Kick
the
Heart
and
Crack
the
body
